Barry Schutte started as a cameraman and editor in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 1983 after completing a degree in Personnel Management. In 1988 he joined Anglo American as an Executive Producer before establishing his own company, Splash Productions in 1992.

Splash proved to be dynamically successful, managing productions as varied as corporate marketing and awareness, safety and news, full documentaries and audio visual material for key South African historical sites. Since moving countries in 2004, Splash became Barry Schutte Video Productions based in Sydney, Australia.

Clients include leading corporates such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Anglogold.

Barry has vast experience in aspects of video production including camera, lighting, sound, editing and screen directing.
